LifeList-Birds App Approved

IconMy new life list App, LifeList-Birds, is now available in the Apple iTunes App Store. This App is an observer’s checklist (sometimes called a “life list”) featuring over 900 North American bird species. Once a bird has been sighted you can entered all of the relevant who, where, when, what, and note data and store everything inside this unique database App.

LifeList-Birds is not a field identification guide.

PopSci Reader App Update V.1.1 Now Available

IconThe newly updated PopSci Reader App V.1.1 is now available in the Apple iTunes App Store. Current users of the PopSci Reader App will receive an automatic update notice via the iPhone/iPod touch App Store App. The updated features in this App include:

  • Share feature for sending article titles to friends
  • Removal of ellipses from article headlines
  • New feed for Gear & Gadgets

An update to the PopSci Reader App (i.e., V. 1.1) will soon be available in the Apple iTunes App Store. This update includes several user interface improvements, plus the incorporation of a new e-mail “share” feature.

Picture 1You can now read all of the news from the future–the Popular Science RSS Reader App is available inside the Apple iTunes App Store. This App uses four category Tab buttons for downloading each day’s top news articles from the PopSci.com Web site. You can select from Main, DIY, Green, and Gear categories. These articles can then be read offline at your leisure. Images are also archived inside this download.
